I have worked as a clinician and administrator in the Behavioral Health Industry in San Diego County for 13 years. I am an expert at helping navigate individuals and families to the right resources at the right time. My scope is addiction and everything that comes with it: individual counseling, family support counseling, family coaching/interventions. I offer clinical services in person at my office in Escondido and via telehealth.
I can provide a superbill if a client or family plans to submit an insurance claim. However, I do not work with insurance companies at this time.
I provide individual counseling to adults, relying on 13 years of clinical experience to treat substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. I practice from a client-centered perspective while utilizing evidence based modalities. My belief is that the goal of counseling is to enhance client resiliency.
Addiction can have a significant impact on a family system. I provide family support sessions and family counseling when the focus is on supporting the recovery of a loved one from substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders.
When a loved one is struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders it can be difficult to know how to help. I provide family coaching, which is an ongoing process that can occur before, during or after an intervention. The goal is to provide an understanding of key issues, improve communication and develop more healthy coping strategies as a family.
